Goce Joševski: Macedonian Football Star and Agent
Early CareerGoce Joševski, a Macedonian footballer, began his professional career in 1998 with Sileks Kratovo. After three years, he signed with Russian club Spartak Moscow in 2000 but only appeared in three games during his two-year stint.
Rise to Prominence with Vardar
Upon leaving Spartak, Joševski returned to Macedonia and joined Vardar Skopje. He quickly established himself as a regular starter and contributed to the club's impressive performance in the 2003 Champions League qualifiers, where they defeated CSKA Moscow before narrowly losing to Sparta Prague.
International Exposure
Joševski's performances for Vardar caught the attention of European clubs. In 2005, he signed with Austrian club Austria Salzburg, making ten appearances and scoring one goal. However, he left the club during the winter break and played for Danish side Midtjylland for six months.
Return to Macedonia and Greek Adventure
In 2006/07, Joševski rejoined Vardar before moving to Greek club Ethnikos Piraeus the following year. After a brief spell in Greece, he returned to Macedonia to play for Rabotnicki Skopje. In 2008/09, he signed for Vardar for the third time.
Later Career
Joševski's playing career concluded in 2009/10 with Rodos in Greece. After retiring, he worked as the sporting director of Metalurg Skopje from January 2010 to August 2012, guiding the club to a second-place finish and their first-ever European qualification.
Agent Career
Since August 2012, Joševski has been a football agent, establishing his own agency, Sports Management Consulting. He graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of Skopje in 2004.
International Recognition
Joševski is the record-holder for appearances with the Macedonian under-21 national team, having played 25 matches and captaining the team on five occasions.
