early life and youth career

Noussair Mazraoui was born on November 14, 1997, in Leiderdorp, Netherlands. He began his football career at the age of seven, joining the youth academy of Dutch club AFC Ajax. Mazraoui quickly rose through the ranks at Ajax, impressing coaches with his technical ability and versatility.

professional debut and Ajax success

In August 2016, Mazraoui made his professional debut for Jong Ajax, the reserve team of Ajax, in the Eerste Divisie. Two years later, he made his Eredivisie debut for the first team in February 2018. Mazraoui quickly established himself as a regular starter for Ajax, playing a key role in the team's success both domestically and in Europe. He helped Ajax win the Eredivisie title and KNVB Cup in 2019 and 2021, and was also part of the team that reached the Champions League semi-finals in 2019.

international career

Despite being born in the Netherlands, Mazraoui chose to represent Morocco internationally due to his Moroccan heritage. He made his international debut in 2017 and has since become a key player for the Atlas Lions.
