Early Life and Education

Olga Cheskidova was born in 1943. Her passion for art led her to enroll in the middle art school of the Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture in 1955. She continued her studies at the Leningrad Higher Artistic-Industrial School named after V.M. Mukhina, where she graduated in 1969 from the interior design department.

Career in Interior Design

In 1973, Cheskidova joined the artistic fund of the Union of Artists. Her expertise in interior design and applied arts made her highly sought after. She received numerous commissions to create complex interior solutions for various projects across the country, including the House of Soviets in Ufa, cafes, restaurants, and bars in Severodvinsk, and cinema complexes in Mineralnye Vody.

Painting and Artistic Expressions

Beyond interior design, Cheskidova is also a skilled painter. Her works primarily encompass genre landscapes, still lifes, and portraits. She also accepts commissions for paintings, murals, and other artistic elements to complement her interior designs.

Creative Studio and Teaching

In 1990, Cheskidova established her own creative studio within the Union of Artists, where artists of various disciplines work under her guidance. Additionally, she teaches composition at the V.M. Mukhina Higher Artistic-Industrial School.

Recognition and Exhibitions

Cheskidova's artistic talent has been recognized through numerous exhibitions, including solo, national, and international shows. Her works have also found their way into private collections both within Russia and abroad.
