Olga Khudenko: An Accomplished Belarusian Kayaker
Olga Khudenko is a renowned Belarusian kayaker who has made significant contributions to the sport. Born on May 12, 1992, in Khoiniki, she represents the Gomel region in competitions.
Early Career and Successes
At the tender age of 14, Khudenko began her kayaking journey at the specialized school in Mozyr. Her initial coach was Mikhail Azemsha, later transitioning to Gennady Galitsky, the head coach of the national women's team.
In 2011, she made her victorious debut at the World Cup. Her breakthrough moment came at the World Championships in Szeged, Hungary, where she claimed bronze in the women's K-4 500m. Later that year, she showcased her skills at the European Championships in Belgrade, winning gold in the K-4 500m and bronze in the K-2 200m.
Olympic Medalist (2012)
Khudenko's consistent performances earned her a spot on the Belarusian Olympic team for the 2012 London Games. Competing in the K-2 500m and K-4 500m events, she finished ninth in the former and, alongside Marina Poltoran, Irina Pomelova, and Nadezhda Popok, secured a bronze medal in the latter.

Post-Olympics, Khudenko remained a prominent figure in the sport. She won three silver medals at the 2013 European Championships in Zagreb and added to her medal collection with bronze in the K-4 500m at the World Championships in Duisburg.
Her success continued at the 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan, where she triumphed in three different disciplines, capturing three gold medals.
Current Life and Education
Khudenko currently resides and trains in Mozyr. She is an active student at Mozyr State Pedagogical University имени И. П. Шамякина, pursuing a degree in physical education.
