Early Life and Career

Kakhaber Korgalidze began his football journey at the age of 15, honing his skills under the tutelage of T. Melashvili at the 35th School. He embarked on his professional career with local Georgian clubs, including Guria Lanchkhuti, Dinamo Tbilisi, Lokomotivi Tbilisi, and Torpedo Kutaisi.

International Career

Beyond his domestic success, Korgalidze also made his mark on the international stage. In the 1990s, he played for clubs in Austria (Casino Salzburg, Wiener Sportklub), Azerbaijan (Neftchi), and Estonia (Flora).

Coaching Beginnings

Upon retiring from playing, Korgalidze ventured into coaching. In 1999, he served as an assistant manager to Murtaz Khurtsilava at Dinamo Tbilisi. He subsequently took on the role of head coach for Arsenal Tbilisi (1998/99), FC Tbilisi (1999/00), and once again for Dinamo Tbilisi (1999-2000).

International Coaching

In 2000, Korgalidze moved to Estonia, where he had a brief playing stint with Kuressaare. He then transitioned to coaching, working with the Estonian youth team and later, Flora Tallinn.

Legacy and Family

Kakhaber Korgalidze's legacy extends beyond his personal achievements. His son, Levan Korgalidze, also became a professional footballer, carrying on the family tradition.
