Early Life and Career
In 1993, Kyriakos Papadopoulos began his professional football career at Panthrakikos. Two years later, he joined Xanthi FC, where he played for three seasons.
Move to Olympiakos
In 1998, Papadopoulos made a significant move to Olympiakos, a prestigious Greek club. Over the next five years, he became a crucial part of a dominant team that won seven Greek Super League titles and one Greek Cup. Papadopoulos also represented Olympiakos in the UEFA Champions League.
Return to Xanthi and Second Stint at Olympiakos
After a short stint at Doxa Drama in 2003, Papadopoulos returned to Xanthi for one season. In 2007, he rejoined Olympiakos and remained there for the rest of his professional career.
International Career
Papadopoulos made his international debut for Greece in 1999 against Belgium. He played in the qualifying rounds for Euro 2004 but was not included in the final tournament squad. In 2008, he represented Greece at Euro 2008.
