Pejman Montazeri: Iranian Football Defender

Early Career at Foolad

Pejman Montazeri, an Iranian football defender, played for Foolad, a key player in their championship season (2004/2005). He also participated in Foolad's 2006 AFC Champions League group stage campaign.

Joining Esteghlal

After Foolad's relegation to the Azadegan League, Montazeri transferred to Tehran's Esteghlal. He became a regular starter, winning the Iranian League and Hazfi Cup in his first two seasons. He extended his contract until 2013 and helped Esteghlal capture the league title in 2012/2013. Additionally, he reached the semi-finals of the 2013 AFC Champions League.

Transfer to Umm Salal

On January 5, 2014, Montazeri signed with Umm Salal in Qatar. His experience and leadership qualities aided the struggling team in securing a respectable 7th place in the Qatar Stars League.
