Evgeny Pavlovich Lebedev was born on May 22, 1904, in Tomsk, Russia. His first artistic pursuits took him to an art school, after which he joined the FEKS workshop led by renowned directors Grigori Kozintsev and Leonid Trauberg.
Film Career Launch
Lebedev's film debut came in 1926 with a role as a chauffeur in "Bratishka" (Brother). The following years saw him appear in a series of prominent films, including "Devil's Wheel" (1926), "Overcoat" (1926), and "Union of the Great Cause" (1927).
