Biography of Pierre Arditi

Pierre Arditi is a French actor who made his debut in the film industry in 1971 in the movie "Blaise Pascal". He was primarily involved in television series. Starting from 1980, after starring in "My American Uncle" with Gérard Depardieu, Arditi began working with director Alain Resnais. One of his major successes was his role in "The Dreyfus Affair" (1994) and a small role in the four-part film "Count of Monte Cristo" in 1998. In 2006, he appeared in the film "Hearts".

Pierre Arditi is the recipient of two César Awards in films directed by Alain Resnais. He won the award for Best Supporting Actor in the film "Melodrama" in 1987 and for Best Actor in the film "Smoking/No Smoking" in 1994. (Partial filmography)
