Biography of Peter Jurasik
Peter Jurasik, born on April 25, 1950 in Queens, New York, is an American actor, comedian, and writer. He began his acting career in high school in Valley Stream, New York, where he participated in numerous theatrical productions. In 1967, he won first prize at the New York Shakespeare Festival and was named the best actor at the One-Act Play Festival in Philadelphia in 1970. Peter also wrote a play called "In My Room." In 1972, he graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in theater and dance.
Over the course of 25 years, Peter Jurasik has appeared in theater, film, and television. His most popular role to date is Ambassador Londo Mollari in the science fiction series "Babylon 5." He has also become a published writer, co-authoring "Diplomatic Act" with William H. Keith. In 1996, Peter received the Universe Reader's Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor for his work on the series and its spin-offs.
Currently, Peter Jurasik resides in a small town on the East Coast of the Atlantic Ocean.
