Rabiyat Aslanova
Member of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan
Early Life and EducationDr. Rabiyat Aslanova was born on July 4, 1951, in Kelbajar, Azerbaijan. She completed her undergraduate studies in history at Baku State University. She subsequently earned a PhD in philosophy and became a full professor. As a renowned scholar, she has authored four books and published over 40 scientific articles.
Academic Career
Dr. Aslanova began her academic career in 1978 as an assistant lecturer at Baku State University, where she gradually rose through the ranks to become a professor in the Department of History and Philosophy in 2004. She is recognized for her expertise in the field of philosophy and culture.
Political Involvement
In the political arena, Dr. Aslanova serves as a member of the Milli Majlis, the parliament of Azerbaijan. She is the chairperson of the Milli Majlis' Committee on Human Rights. As a member of the New Azerbaijan Party, she contributes to the political discourse and governance of the country.
