Biography of Raul Albiol
Raul Albiol is a Spanish football player who currently plays for Real Madrid and the Spanish national team. He is known for his incredible flexibility and ability to play as a central defender, right back, or defensive midfielder.

Early Life and Career
Raul's father, Miguel, was a well-known player for the Benidorm team. It was through Miguel's connections that Raul started his professional career at the age of nine, playing for the youth division of Benidorm.

After an impressive performance in a friendly match against the Valencia CF youth team, Raul received an invitation to join the local stage of the Spanish La Liga. He made his debut for Valencia on September 24, 2003, less than a month after his 18th birthday. However, he spent the entire first year as a substitute.

In August 2004, Albiol had negotiations with the Getafe CF team but unfortunately got involved in a car accident. He spent some time in the intensive care unit but was able to fully recover and return to the field in January. Raul's performance helped Valencia avoid relegation to a lower division, and his best performance was in a draw against Atletico de Madrid on January 15, 2005.
In the following season, Albiol returned to Valencia and his versatility forced the coaches to give him a place in the first team. He scored the winning goal against Real Betis in the first match of the new season and continued to make significant contributions throughout the season, including a successful strike in a UEFA Champions League match on September 12, 2006.
Real Madrid Career
On June 25, 2009, Albiol joined Real Madrid for an undisclosed fee, estimated to be around €15 million. He became the first Spaniard to be signed by Florentino Perez during his new presidential term. Throughout the following championship, Albiol remained a key player in the starting lineup due to Pepe's knee injury.
In the beginning of the 2010-2011 season, Albiol became a substitute as Ricardo Carvalho was brought in to replace him. However, he still had opportunities to play as Pepe suffered from health issues. Albiol helped Real Madrid reach the final of the domestic cup, but he was sent off the field during a provocation against David Villa, causing him to miss the Spanish Cup final as a result.
International Career
Albiol made his debut in the Spanish national team while playing for the youth team. He first played for the senior team on October 13, 2007, in a qualification match for the UEFA Euro 2008, where Spain defeated Denmark 3-1. He represented Spain in 2009 and 2010 as well, playing in the final matches of the championship against Sweden and Greece.
