Early Career and Domestic SuccessRobert Koren, a renowned Slovenian footballer, began his professional journey with Dravograd in 1996. After six years, he transitioned to Celje in 2001, where he excelled, scoring 22 goals in 78 matches.
Norwegian Adventure
In search of new challenges, Koren ventured to Norway and joined Lillestrøm in 2004. Over three seasons, he showcased his skills, capturing the attention of English clubs.
West Bromwich Albion: A Premier League Chapter
On January 4, 2007, Koren joined West Bromwich Albion, making his debut in the FA Cup against Leeds United. His first goal for the club came in a 7-0 victory against Barnsley on the last day of the season.
Hull City and Beyond
As a free agent in 2010, Koren signed with Hull City. Despite a rocky start, he established himself as a valuable asset, scoring one goal in 12 matches.
International Career
