Biography of Roberto Bautista Agut
Roberto Bautista Agut is a Spanish tennis player who considers reaching the Top 100 of the world rankings as his main personal achievement. Born in Castellón de la Plana, Roberto comes from a family with a banking background. His father, Joaquin, was a former football player, and his mother, Ester, owned a clothing store.

Early Years and Tennis Career
Roberto started playing tennis at the age of five after his mother introduced him to the sport and enrolled him in a tennis section. His idols growing up were Juan Carlos Ferrero and David Ferrer. However, tennis is not the only sport that Roberto is passionate about. He also has a love for equestrian sports and football. Roberto played football for Villarreal C.F. until the age of 14, but decided to focus exclusively on tennis. Despite leaving football, Roberto remains an avid supporter of Villarreal C.F. and C.D. Castellon.

Tennis Achievements
Roberto Bautista Agut prefers to use an open racket grip. His biggest personal achievement is reaching the Top 100 of the world rankings, and he has no intentions of dropping out of the top hundred. Currently, he is ranked 74th in the world, and his personal record was set on October 8, 2012. On the doubles side, Roberto's record is less impressive, with his highest ranking being 270th on June 18, 2012. However, he has since dropped to 431st.
