Early Life and Education

Roman Ivanovich Ivanovski was born in the city of Bender, Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR). He excelled in his studies, graduating with honors from Bender Secondary School No. 13. Pursuing a military career, Ivanovski attended the St. Petersburg Military Engineering and Communications Academy, where he specialized in "Automated Command and Control Systems."

Military and Prosecution Service

Upon completing his military education, Ivanovski served as an officer in the Russian Federation in Mytishchi, Moscow Oblast. In 1999, he returned to PMR and embarked on a career in the prosecutor's office. Over the course of five years, he held various positions, including senior investigator for the Bender City Prosecutor's Office, senior prosecutor for the Investigation of Crimes of Special Importance, and head of the Criminalistics Department of the PMR Prosecutor's Office. He attained the rank of 1st Class Jurist.

Business Ventures

In 2004, Ivanovski transitioned to the private sector, establishing several businesses in various industries. He served on the Council for the Development and Support of Small Entrepreneurship under the PMR Government and the Council for Small Business of the Tiraspol Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Political Career

Ivanovski's political career began in 2010 with his election as a deputy to the Bender City Council. He chaired the standing committee on industry, architecture, municipal property, and land resources and was a member of the Presidium. In 2013, he underwent military training as an observer in the PMR peacekeeping forces, earning the rank of reserve major.

Mayor of Bender

On December 23, 2016, Ivanovski was appointed as Mayor of the City of Bender. During his tenure, he has focused on improving the city's infrastructure, social services, and economic development.

Awards and Honors

Ivanovski has received numerous awards for his service to PMR, including the Order of "Labor Glory," the Certificate of Merit from the President of PMR, and the Medal "For Impeccable Service, Third Degree."
