The Rise of Roman Reigns

Despite the notable wrestlers of the past, Roman Reigns stands out with his muscular, silent, and emotionless persona. In the ring, he transforms into a beast ready to tear apart any opponent and prove to everyone that he is the true king of the WWE.

Roman Reigns

Roman gained the most recognition through his participation in the group 'The Shield', which also included Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Unfortunately, the era of dominance for 'The Shield' came to an end following Seth Rollins' unexpected betrayal. After shocking fans and wrestlers with the breakup of the group, Roman began competing in singles and handicap matches against the strongest and most experienced fighters in the World Wrestling Entertainment.

A Member of the Anoa'i Dynasty

As a member of the Anoa'i dynasty, Roman Reigns is related to many professional wrestlers of Samoan descent, including Dwayne Johnson, The Usos, Rikishi, and others.

From Football to Wrestling

Roman Reigns started his athletic career playing football in high school, representing both Pensacola Catholic High School and later Escambia High School. He excelled on the field and was even named Defender of the Year. He continued his football journey playing for the 'Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets' at the university level. Unfortunately, he didn't find success in professional football, spending time with the 'Minnesota Vikings', 'Jacksonville Jaguars', and 'Edmonton Eskimos'. After becoming a free agent, Roman decided to try his luck in wrestling.

The Breakthrough of 'The Shield'

Roman quickly made his way through different wrestling companies, training with the biggest stars of the Anoa'i dynasty and frequently teaming up with them in tag team matches. However, Roman gained widespread fame not just through his connections but through the creation of 'The Shield'. The members of this group aimed to deliver righteous justice to those in the WWE who seemed to have limitless power. From 2012 to 2014, the trio demolished the most renowned players and teams, gradually climbing to the top, challenging Triple H and his 'Evolution' faction, which eventually evolved into 'The Authority'. The Shield triumphed over 'The Authority' in a team match with a score of 3-0, with Roman being the most active participant, showcasing his signature moves - the 'Spear' and the 'Superman Punch'.

The Rise of a Solo Star

After the breakup of 'The Shield', Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose found themselves against 'The Authority'. Despite their differences, both wrestlers pursued the same goal - to dismantle 'The Authority' and seek revenge on Seth Rollins, who personally betrayed them by joining 'The Authority'. Today, experts consider Roman to be one of the favorites in upcoming competitions and tag team matches. They also believe that a resounding victory could secure him a spot among the top three wrestlers in the WWE.

The Reign of Roman

Following the dissolution of 'The Shield', Roman Reigns became one of the most beloved wrestlers in America. Standing out from his competitors with his calmness and unwavering determination, Roman never promises to take down someone - he simply does it. He has earned a reputation as an honest friend and fearless enemy who refuses to compromise on his beliefs and moral principles.
