Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was born on April 18, 1987, at Freedom Fields hospital in Plymouth, Devon, England. Her mother, Fiona Huntington-Whiteley, works as a fitness instructor, and her father, Charles Huntington-Whiteley, is a certified real estate appraiser. Rosie has a younger brother named Toby and a younger sister named Florence. Her great-grandfather, Sir Herbert Huntington-Whiteley, 1st Baronet, was a politician, and her great-grandmother immigrated from Poland to England in the 1870s. Rosie attended Tavistock College.

Rosie made her debut in 2004 at the autumn/winter collections fashion show.
