Former Armenian Parliament Member: A Biography
Early Life and EducationBorn in Armenia, the politician in question pursued higher education at the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute from 1975 to 1980, earning a degree in civil engineering.
Military Service
In 1990, the individual founded and led the "Sasna-Tsrer" detachment, playing an active role in battles along the borders of Armenia and in Nagorno-Karabakh during the Karabakh War.
Political Career
From 1996, they served as the prefect of the Davtashen community. In the parliamentary elections of 1999, they were elected as a member of the National Assembly of Armenia, serving until 2003. During their tenure, they held a position on the Standing Committee on Defense, National Security, and Internal Affairs.
Other Accomplishments and Affiliations
Since 1993, the politician has been a member of the European Cultural Movement (ECM), becoming the chairman of its Mashttots territorial organization in 1994. Notably, they received the "For Courage" medal in 1996.
