Early Career and Move to Norway

Sadio Mané, a Senegalese international and left-back currently playing for Angers SCO in France, began his football journey with Senegalese club Diambars. In 2010, he and teammate Kara Mbodj signed with Norwegian club Tromsø IL. Sissoko made his Tippeliga debut on May 5th against Brann, initially coming off the bench as a substitute. Participating in 13 matches during the 2010 season, he cemented his position as Tromsø's left-back in the following year, playing in 20 games.

Breakthrough and European Debut

Mané scored his first goal in the Norwegian league on September 18th, 2011, against Strømsgodset IF, securing an early lead for his team. His European debut came on June 30th, 2011, in a UEFA Europa League qualifier against Latvian club FK Daugava Daugavpils.

Transfer to France

On August 26th, 2013, Sissoko left Tromsø and joined French club Valenciennes FC for a transfer fee of €500,000. He made his Ligue 1 debut against FC Lorient on August 31st, 2013.

International Career

Representing Senegal at the youth level, Sissoko played in the 2011 African Youth Championship, where his team finished fourth and qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. He was selected for the Olympic squad and participated in three matches, including the quarterfinal against Mexico, which Senegal lost in extra time. His senior international debut for Senegal was in a friendly against Niger.
