Biography of Sarah Shahi
Sarah Shahi, an actress and fashion model, was born on January 10, 1980, in a small town called Olso in the state of Texas, USA. Originally named Aaho Yahansoz Shahi, she was known as Sarah by everyone in school. Her father was Iranian, while her mother was Spanish. Her father tried to raise her with strict Muslim traditions, forbidding her from dating and attending church on weekends. However, her mother had different views on raising their daughter and instilled in Sarah true American values from an early age. Ultimately, her mother's perspective prevailed, and Sarah's upbringing primarily followed her script.

At the age of 10, Sarah began participating in beauty pageants. Her father was furious, and conflicts within the Shahi family escalated, leading to the parents' divorce three years later. When asked about her parents' divorce, Sarah openly expressed her belief that her father was a despot and a tyrant, and she was very grateful that her mother decided to divorce him.
Early Career and Hollywood Breakthrough
Sarah Shahi received her first title at the age of 17 when she became "Miss Fort Worth USA." After graduating from high school, she enrolled at the University of Dallas and officially became Sarah Shahi. During her time at the university, Sarah pursued opera singing and developed a passion for karate, even earning a brown belt. These skills came in handy during her work on the film "Rush Hour 3" where she acted alongside the incomparable Jackie Chan.
In 2000, Sarah was offered a small role in the film "Dr. T and the Women." Although the role was tiny, the director Robert Altman noticed the charming young woman and encouraged her to try her luck in Hollywood. Without hesitation, Sarah packed her bags and headed to the City of Angels. Initially, she was offered only episodic roles. Her first significant role was as Jenny in the television series "Alias." Her next role in the popular series "Sex and the City" helped her establish herself as a fairly well-known actress and fashion model.
Recent Years and Personal Life
Until recently, Sarah played the role of a brave detective in the American television series "Life." However, the producers had to part ways with her as her pregnancy became evident and concealing it on screen became impossible. In the summer of 2009, Sarah was expecting her first child, bringing her career to a temporary halt. Her husband, actor Steve Howey, was overjoyed with the news.
