Childhood and Early Career

My football journey began as a mere hobby, but at the tender age of seven, my father recognized my passion and enrolled me in a football academy at the "Avangard" stadium. As fate would have it, this stadium later became the home ground for the "Frunzenez" team.

At the age of 16, I joined my first professional club, "Agrothehservice," which competed in the Ukrainian Second League.

Rise through the Ranks

In 1996, I embarked on a new chapter with the ambitious "Cherkaski," a First League team. I spent four unforgettable years with them before moving to Kyiv to join CSKA, where I had the privilege of representing the club in the UEFA Cup.

Arrival at Odessa and Donetsk

In 2003, I fulfilled a lifelong dream by signing for Odessa's legendary "Chornomorets." I spent four and a half memorable seasons there, establishing myself as a key member of the team.

In May 2007, I made the pivotal move of my career by joining "Metalurh" (Donetsk). I made my debut for the team on August 3, 2007, in a match against "Metalurh" (Zaporizhya).

International Recognition

Although I made numerous appearances for Ukraine's youth squad, I never had the honor of representing my country at the senior level.

Family and Personal Life

My parents reside in Sumy, where my father works in the transportation industry and my mother is employed by the housing authority. My younger sister works in banking. I am happily married to my wife, Evgeniya, and together we are raising our son, Serhiy.
