Education and Military Service
Sergei Yersh completed Slohim Secondary School No. 1 in 1989. In 1994, he graduated from the Faculty of History of the Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after M. Tanka. He served in the Belarusian army from 1994 to 1995.
Journalism Career
After his military service, Yersh worked as the director of the People's Museum of Slohim Secondary School No. 4 from 1995 to 1997. He then worked as a journalist for the newspapers "Gazeta Slonym", "Dzen" (2002), and "Nasha Niva" (2002-2004).
Publications
Yersh has published numerous newspapers and magazines, including "Golos Kombatanta" (2000-2001), "Nasha Vera" (2000), "Slolimski Kraj" (2000), and "Belaruski Rezystans." He is also a co-publisher of the magazine "Belarusian Resistance."
Research Interests
Yersh focuses his research on the following topics:- Belarusian anti-Soviet national resistance in the 1940s and 1950s
