Rachid Belgassemi
Early CareerRachid Belgassemi, a French-Moroccan midfielder, embarked on his professional football journey with Grenoble Foot 38 in France. In August 2007, he made a significant move to FC Dynamo Kyiv in Ukraine.
Dynamo Kyiv Loan Spells
Belgassemi failed to secure a spot in Dynamo Kyiv's first team. Instead, he gained valuable playing experience through a series of loan spells with Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace in France, FC Xamax in Switzerland, and Tours FC in France.
Departure from Dynamo Kyiv
In January 2012, Belgassemi mutually agreed with FC Dynamo Kyiv to terminate his contract. This paved the way for him to join SV Zulte Waregem in Belgium.
Return to France
After a brief stint in Belgium, Belgassemi returned to France in the summer of 2012, signing for AC Ajaccio.
International Career
Belgassemi represented Morocco's under-17 team in 2004 and France's under-20 team from 2005 to 2006. In 2013, he made his senior international debut for Morocco in the Africa Cup of Nations, playing as a substitute in the opening match against Angola (0-0).
