Sheikh Azimi: A Sufi Master and Spiritual Guide
Early Life and Spiritual JourneySheikh Azimi was born in India on October 17, 1927. During the partition of India in 1947, he migrated to Pakistan with his family. From a young age, Sheikh Azimi pursued a spiritual quest that led him to the doorstep of Kalandar Baba Auliya (1896-1979), who became his spiritual teacher or murshid.
Under Baba Auliya's guidance, Sheikh Azimi underwent a transformative 14-year journey, practicing muraqaba (Sufi meditation), zikr (remembrance of God's holy names), and ihsan (self-actualization).
Writings and Roohani Digest
In 1962, Sheikh Azimi began writing articles on telepathy, parapsychology, color meditation, and healing in various Pakistani newspapers and magazines. He received overwhelming responses from people seeking his advice, which prompted the launch of his monthly magazine, Roohani Digest, in 1978.
Muraqaba: The Path to Self-Realization
Sheikh Azimi emphasizes muraqaba (Sufi meditation) as the cornerstone of his spiritual teachings, believing it to be the most direct and effective path to self-realization, which in turn leads to the knowledge of God. To facilitate this practice, he has established meditation centers and halls across Pakistan, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, the UAE, and Russia.

A Diverse Following
Sheikh Azimi's teachings have attracted disciples from all religions and social strata. He resides in Karachi, Pakistan, with his family and manages Roohani Digest, currently edited by his eldest son, Waqar Yousuf Azeemi.
