Early Life and Education

Born into a Belarusian family, Sergei Nikolaevich Knyazev began his professional journey as a mechanic at the "Sibselmash" factory. His academic pursuits led him to graduate from a higher educational institution of the KGB, a military academy, and the Academy of Security.

Military and Security Career

Knyazev's military accomplishments garnered him the rank of Lieutenant General. He held prominent positions within the KGB, including heading the Military Counterintelligence Department and the Institute of National Security.

Government Appointments

In 2001, Knyazev was appointed Deputy State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus. He subsequently became First Deputy State Secretary and then First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, where he played a crucial role in shaping the country's national security policies.

Academic Leadership

In 2003, Knyazev was appointed Rector of the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus. Since 2011, he has served as the Rector of the International University "MITSO."
