Early Career in JapanTakumi Minamino, a Japanese footballer, began his career in his home country. He played 64 matches for the J-League club, scoring alongside Diego Forlán, before the team was relegated from the top division in 2014.
Move to Red Bull Salzburg
In 2015, Minamino joined the Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg on a contract until 2018. He made his debut in the UEFA Europa League against Villarreal and quickly became a regular contributor.
Transfer to Liverpool
In December 2019, Minamino signed a contract with Liverpool, joining the English Premier League giants on January 1, 2020. He made his debut four days later in an FA Cup match against Everton.
Loan to Southampton
Amidst limited playing time at Liverpool, Minamino was loaned out to Southampton in February 2021 for the remainder of the season.
Transfer to Monaco

International Career
