Early Life and Family BackgroundTeresa Stadlober was born into a family of esteemed skiers. Her father, Alois Stadlober, triumphed as World Champion in cross-country skiing in 1999. Her mother, Roswitha Steiner, achieved recognition as a medalist in alpine skiing at the World Championships in 1987.
World Cup Debut and Career Progression
Stadlober made her World Cup debut on December 1, 2013. She earned her first World Cup points by finishing 27th in the Tour de Ski that season. As of March 4, 2014, she stood in 77th place in her debut World Cup overall standings.
Olympic Experience
At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Stadlober competed in four events. Her performances included a 37th-place finish in the skiathlon, a 13th-place finish in the relay, a 9th-place finish in the team sprint, and a 20th-place finish in the 30km mass start.
