Trajko Veljanovski

Early Life and Education
Trajko Veljanoski was born in Skopje, Macedonia. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, Justinian I University in Skopje, in 1988.
Legal Career
After completing his legal studies, Veljanoski worked as an attorney from 1988 to 1999. He spent the next two years, from 1999 to 2001, as Deputy Secretary in the Macedonian Ministry of Justice. Subsequently, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Justice from 2001 to 2002.
Political Career
In 2006, Veljanoski was elected as a member of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia for the VMRO-DPMNE party. He was re-elected in the 2008 elections and, on June 21, 2008, was elected Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia.
