Tural Jalilov, a skilled Azerbaijani footballer, has etched his name in the annals of football. Born in the quaint town of Khachmaz, he embarked on his footballing journey at the tender age of 11, guided by the astute tutelage of Coach Zohrab Makhmudov.
Early Career
Jalilov honed his skills at the renowned Adliya and Gänclärbirliyi clubs before donning the colors of Simurq Zaqatala in the prestigious Azerbaijani Premier League from 2007 to 2010. During the 2008/2009 season, the tenacious midfielder made history as the only local player to grace the field in all 26 matches of the XVII Azerbaijani Football Championship.
International Debut
In November 2008, Jalilov received the honor of representing his nation when he made his debut for the Azerbaijani national team. His first match adorned the iconic Baku pitch, where Azerbaijan fought to a thrilling 1:1 draw against Albania in a friendly encounter.
Club Achievements
As part of Simurq Zaqatala, Jalilov tasted the sweet nectar of victory as they secured the Bronze Medal in the 2008/09 Azerbaijani Premier League, a testament to his unwavering determination and talent.
