Early Life and Career
- Born on December 29, 1963, in Lund, Sweden.

- Graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics from Uppsala University in 1988.

- Held various marketing and public relations roles before becoming financial advisor for the Eskilstuna municipality (2003-2006).

Political Career

- Joined the Moderate Youth Union in 1988 and became its chairman (1988-1992).

- Elected to the Swedish parliament (Riksdag) in 1991 as a replacement for Carl Bildt.

- Served as Minister for Social Security from 2010 to 2014 in the government of Fredrik Reinfeldt.

- Re-elected to the Riksdag in 2014, holding roles in the Committees for Labor Market and Finance.

- Elected leader of the Moderate Party in 2017.

Prime Minister of Sweden

- In the 2022 parliamentary elections, the opposition right-wing bloc led by Kristersson's Moderate Party won a narrow majority.
