Early Career and Athletic Bilbao

Ander Iturraspe, a Basque Spanish footballer and defender, began his professional career at the age of 19 with Athletic Bilbao. Iturraspe spent the majority of his career at Athletic Bilbao, except for a two-year stint at Basconia. He primarily played in the Spanish league and Copa del Rey, and also participated in the first-ever UEFA Europa League competition with Athletic Bilbao. Iturraspe did not represent the Spanish national team during his career.

Loan to Real Betis and Contract Termination

In 2011, Iturraspe was loaned to Real Betis for one season. After that, in 2012, his contract with Athletic Bilbao was mutually terminated.

Success in Georgia

Iturraspe then moved to Dinamo Tbilisi in Georgia, where he quickly achieved success. In his first season, he helped the team win the Georgian league title. Iturraspe continued his success by winning the Georgian Cup and league title once more in the following season.
