Biography of Valentin Krylov
Valentin Krylov is a Moldovan politician and former Executive Secretary of the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova. He was born on January 12, 1953, in Chisinau, Moldova. Krylov graduated from the Leningrad Higher Naval Radioelectronics Academy, specializing in military engineering and electronics. He served in the Navy. Krylov is married.
Professional Career
During the 2007 mayoral elections in Chisinau, Krylov ran as a candidate from the electoral bloc "Patria-Rodina - Ravnopraivie" and received 2.70% of the votes. In the 2011 mayoral elections in Chisinau, he ran as a candidate from the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova but withdrew from the electoral campaign in favor of Igor Dodon.
