Early Life and Career

Vasiliy Klimov, a Ukrainian footballer and midfielder, was born and raised in Kremenchuk, Ukraine. He began his football journey at the Atlantyk Kremenchuk Youth Sports School under the guidance of coach Sergey Muradyan.

Rise to Prominence

In 2003, Klimov joined the Dnipro-2 team, which competed in the Second Division. He later rose to the Dnipro first team, where he made his debut in the Ukrainian Cup against FC Rava on September 21, 2005. In July 2006, he transferred to FC Vorskla Poltava.

Vorskla Poltava Years

Klimov made his Vysshaya Liga (Ukrainian Premier League) debut for Vorskla on September 2, 2007, against Dnipro. He appeared primarily for the reserve team, where he was known for his accurate penalty kicks. In his tenure with Vorskla, he played in the Ukrainian Cup, scoring several goals.

Return to Kremenchuk

In 2008, Klimov returned to his hometown club, Kremen, as a free agent. He established himself as a key player in the team, leading the scoring charts in Group A of the Second Division during the first half of the 2009/10 season.

Personal Life

Klimov remains unmarried and holds a deep admiration for the Italian football club Roma.
