It was here that Kleman set a unique and original record by riding American roller coasters 90 times in a single day. This brought his overall riding tally to 4,000 rides on the 'Jack Rabbit.' Kleman confirmed this number with the collection of tickets he had gathered over the years.
On the day of his record-breaking feat, Kleman spent approximately five hours on the 'Jack Rabbit,' managing to ride it 90 times. Typically, the retiree would allow himself around 20 rides per visit. However, that particular day was a special occasion, as it marked the 90th anniversary of the wooden attraction. Kleman seized the opportunity to surpass his usual limit. In an interview, Kleman admitted that he had been riding this roller coaster since 1959. He also mentioned that he did not prepare for or plan to set the record; it happened naturally. "I was just having fun," the retiree shared with journalists.
