Early Life and Education

Vitaly Vladimirovich Lednik was born on October 15, 1945, in the village of Ledniki, Tluboksky District, Vitebsk Region. He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Agricultural Production Engineers in 1968, obtaining a higher education.

Professional Career

Lednik's professional career began in the Bolshakovskoye branch of "Selkhoztekhnika" in the Kaliningrad region, where he worked as an engineer-economist. He served in the Armed Forces from 1969 to 1971.

Upon his return from military service, he worked at the Turyevskoye association "Selkhoztekhnika" from 1971 to 1980, holding positions such as senior engineer-economist, chief engineer, and manager of the association.

Political Life

Lednik embarked on a career in politics in 1980, serving as second secretary of the Turyevskoye district committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU). From 1990 to 2000, he held the positions of chairman of the executive committee and head of the Turyevskoye district administration.

In 1999, Lednik was elected to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, representing the Unity party. He also served as a member of the Turyevskoye district committee of the CPSU and as a deputy of the district council of the Kaliningrad Regional Duma.

Awards and Recognition

Lednik has received numerous awards for his service, including:

- Jubilee Medal "For Military Valor in Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of V.I. Lenin" (1970)
