Debut with Serbia and Montenegro

Šaranov made his debut for the Serbian and Montenegrin national team on March 31, 2004, in a match against Norway, which Serbia and Montenegro lost 0-1. He continued to represent the team and participated in a friendly match against Russia on May 28, 2008, playing the entire game.

Club Success with Crvena Zvezda

Prior to joining Ukrainian clubs, Šaranov played for Crvena Zvezda in Belgrade, Serbia. During his time there, he achieved significant success, winning the Serbian and Montenegrin championship in the 2003/04 season. Additionally, he secured a silver medal in the same competition for the 2001/02 season and won the Serbian and Montenegrin Cup in the 2003/04 season.

Ukrainian League Honors with Metalurh and Metalist
