Merited Coach of the USSR and Ukraine
Victor Semenovich Ivanov is a Merited Coach of the USSR and Ukraine. Alongside Rem Korchemny, he is considered one of the greatest track and field coaches in Odessa's history.
Early Life and Education
Ivanov graduated from the Odessa State Pedagogical Institute named after KD Ushinsky in 1954.
Coaching Career
1952-1966: Odessa Children's Sports School No. 5Ivanov began his coaching career as a trainer-teacher at Odessa Children's Sports School No. 5.
1966-1989: Odessa Oblast Dynamo Council
For over two decades, Ivanov worked at the Odessa Oblast Dynamo Council.
1989-1990: Odessa School of Higher Sportsmanship
He served as an instructor-methodologist at the Odessa School of Higher Sportsmanship.
2000-Present: Odessa Oblast Sports School for Children and Youth
Ivanov currently holds the position of instructor-methodologist at the Odessa Oblast Sports School for Children and Youth.
