Biography of Yasser Al-Kahtani
Yasser Al-Kahtani, a Saudi Arabian footballer, is a forward for the Saudi Arabian national team and Al-Ain club in Al-Ain. Born on October 10, 1982, in El-Hubar, he is the youngest captain in the history of the Saudi Arabian national team.

Early Career
Yasser Al-Kahtani was a product of the Al-Kadisiyah football school in El-Hubar, where he began his professional career in 2003. During his time at Al-Kadisiyah, he played thirty-eight matches and scored nineteen goals for his team.

Move to Al-Hilal
In 2005, Yasser Al-Kahtani was recruited by Al-Hilal in Riyadh. The transfer fee paid by Al-Hilal was a record-breaking amount for Saudi Arabia, totaling almost five and a half million dollars. However, Al-Hilal's investment proved to be worthwhile as Yasser Al-Kahtani helped the club become champions of Saudi Arabia. He also won the country's Cup, known as the Prince's Cup, twice and the Saudi Federation Cup (Prince Faisal Cup) once during his time with Al-Hilal.

International Career
Yasser Al-Kahtani has been a member of the Saudi Arabian national team since 2002. In 2002, he won the Arab Nations Cup and the Gulf Cup of Nations, which he also won in 2003. He represented Saudi Arabia in the 2006 FIFA World Cup held in Germany.
In 2007, Yasser was named the "Asian Footballer of the Year" and the "Top Scorer" of the 2007 AFC Asian Cup. Under Yasser's leadership, Saudi Arabia reached the final of the AFC Asian Cup but lost to the Iraqi national team with a score of 0-1.
Recognition and Interest from Manchester United
In 2007, Yasser Al-Kahtani was ranked sixth in the International Federation of Football History and Statistics' list of the world's top scorers. His outstanding performance caught the attention of Manchester United, and he underwent a trial with the club. However, Yasser chose to remain with Al-Hilal until the end of the season.
