Mykola Romanchuk
Early Life and EducationMykola Romanchuk was born in Ukraine and graduated from the Mykolaiv Shipbuilding Institute in 1975 with a specialization in "Technology and Equipment for Welding Production."
Career in Shipbuilding
In 2002, Romanchuk became the General Director of the state-owned enterprise "Scientific and Production Complex of Gas Turbine Engineering 'Zorya-Mashproekt.'" Located in Mykolaiv, this enterprise plays a significant role in Ukraine's shipbuilding industry.
Political Involvement
Romanchuk's foray into politics began when he became a member of the Executive Committee of the Mykolaiv City Council. In 2002, he joined the Council of Entrepreneurs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Romanchuk served as a trusted person for Viktor Yanukovych, a candidate for President of Ukraine, in the territorial electoral district No. 130 from 2004 to 2005. He became a member of the Party of Regions of Ukraine in 2009.
Recognition and Honors
