Sergei Frolov
Sergei Frolov was a Soviet and Ukrainian footballer who played as a forward. He was born in Krivoy Rog, Ukrainian SSR.
Early Career
Frolov began his football career in 1977 with the youth team of FC Kryvbas Krivoy Rog. The following year, he joined the amateur team FC Kolos Skadovsk. In 1979, he became a player of FC SKA Odessa, where he completed his military service.
Club Career
After completing his service in 1981, Frolov returned to FC Kryvbas. He later played for FC Podillia Khmelnytskyi, FC Krylia Sovetov Samara, FC Avanhard Rivne, FC Kristall Kherson, FC Meliorator Kakhovka, FC Kolos, FC Kauchuk Sterlitamak, and FC Budjak Comrat.
In the first Ukrainian Premier League season, Frolov played for FC Fetrovyk Khust. He began the 1993 season with FC Energiya Nova Kakhovka, but in September 1993, he joined FC Stroitel Krivoy Rog, where he retired the following year.
Coaching Career
After retiring as a player, Frolov became a coach. In the 1994/1995 season, he was the head coach of FC Sirius Zhovti Vody in the Ukrainian Second League.
