Early Life and Football Journey

Zurabi Arziani, a Georgian and Russian footballer, was born into the world of football as the son of Malhaz Arziani, a defender for Tbilisi Dynamo in the 1980s. At the tender age of 16, he embarked on a journey to Russia, joining the reserve team of FC Saturn in 2004.

Club Career in Russia

Arziani began his professional career in 2005 with the reserve team of Rubin Kazan, where he played 29 matches and scored one goal. In 2007, he was loaned to FC Anzhi Makhachkala, then competing in the First Division. It was there that he gained valuable playing time, helping the club achieve promotion to the Premier League in 2009.

Russian Citizenship and Tbilisi Dynamo Loan

Despite receiving Russian citizenship, Arziani's playing time was limited in Anzhi's Premier League campaign due to an injury that sidelined him for most of the first half of the season. In February 2011, he was loaned to Tbilisi Dynamo, the club his father once played for.

Family Life

Arziani is a family man, and in August 2011, he and his wife welcomed a daughter named Elizabeth.
