Biography of Alice Temperley

Alice Temperley is a British fashion designer and the founder of the fashion label 'Temperley London'. She grew up in Somerset on her parents' farm. After moving to London, Temperley first attended the Royal College of Art, and then the renowned Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. It was during this time that she, along with her boyfriend Lars von Bennigsen, established the label 'Temperley London'.

American Vogue has named Temperley as one of the most important figures in the British fashion scene. 'Temperley London' releases four collections each year, including autumn-winter, cruise, spring-summer, and pre-fall. These collections encompass a range of products, from expensive exclusive dresses (under the 'Black Label' series) to ready-to-wear garments, beachwear, accessories, and even wedding dresses.

Currently, under Temperley's leadership, there are four boutiques located in London, New York, Los Angeles, and Dubai. Additionally, her designs are sold in major retail stores worldwide. The 'Temperley London' brand is available in 300 stores across 37 countries. The headquarters of Temperley's fashion empire is located in Notting Hill, London. Notting Hill was also where she held her first fashion show in 2003. Since then, she has regularly showcased her collections in New York.
