Biography of Araik Grigoryan

Araik Grigoryan is an Armenian political figure and entrepreneur. He graduated from the Yerevan Institute of National Economy in 1989, specializing in economics. From 1982 to 1984, he served in the army, and in 1989, he began working as a senior inspector at the tax inspection office in the Ararat region.

From 1991 to 1994, Grigoryan was involved in farming, and since 1984, he has been the chairman of the council at the Avshar Winery in the Ararat region. In 2003, he was elected as a member of parliament and served until 2007. During his time in parliament, he was a member of the standing committee on foreign relations and a member of the "ARFD" faction.

On May 12, 2007, Grigoryan was re-elected as a member of parliament and continued his work as a member of the "ARFD" faction and the standing committee on foreign relations. He was re-elected again on May 6, 2012.
