Early Career and Rise to ProminenceBlerim Dzemaili, a Swiss footballer of Albanian descent, began his professional career at the age of 17 with FC Zürich. During his time there, he quickly established himself as a key player, making over 100 appearances and scoring 9 goals. His performances caught the attention of several European clubs, including Italian giants AC Milan and Juventus.
Move to England and Injury Setback
Opting to join Bolton Wanderers in England, Dzemaili's career took an unfortunate turn. He suffered a knee injury shortly after his arrival, which severely hampered his recovery. The change in management at Bolton also saw him fall out of favor, and the injury prevented him from participating in Euro 2008.
Resurgence in Italy
In August 2008, Dzemaili was loaned to Torino, with an option for the club to purchase him permanently. He made his Serie A debut for Torino in September and despite the club's relegation to Serie B in 2009, Dzemaili was acquired by Torino on a permanent basis. A subsequent loan to Parma in 2009 further showcased his abilities.
Arrival at Napoli
In 2011, Dzemaili joined Napoli, where he established himself as a valuable squad member. He played a significant role in the club's Coppa Italia triumph in 2012 and made regular appearances in Serie A and the Europa League.
