Celia Aymonier, a French cross-country skier and biathlete, is known for her impressive performances in various competitions. Career in Cross-Country Skiing

In her cross-country skiing career, Aymonier participated in two World Championships. In Val di Fiemme in 2013, she achieved a 6th place in the relay, a 10th place in the team sprint, and finished 36th in both the sprint and skiathlon. At the World Championships in Falun in 2015, she secured an 8th place in the relay, a 6th place in the team sprint, and reached 27th place in the 30 km mass start classic style, 18th place in the 10 km freestyle, and 28th place in the sprint.

Participation in the 2014 Winter Olympics

In the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Aymonier competed in five disciplines. She achieved the following results: 27th place in the 10 km classic style, 21st place in the skiathlon, 40th place in the sprint, 12th place in the team sprint, and a remarkable 4th place in the relay. Her performance in the relay, together with her teammates, Auror Jean, Anouk Fevre-Picon, and Coraline Hugue, was her best team result throughout her career.

Transition to Biathlon

Aymonier made her debut in biathlon during the 2015/2016 season, which proved to be successful. She initially competed in the IBU Cup, where she secured a 3rd place in her debut race, finishing 31 seconds behind the winner, Magdalena Gwizdon.
