Background and Education

Danela Arsovska's academic and professional journey began with a Bachelor of Laws degree from St. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. She went on to pursue a Master's in Economics and a management education at Oxford and Sheffield Universities. Her academic pursuits have led to various consulting and research roles both within North Macedonia and internationally.

Business and Economic Leadership

Arsovska's business acumen has been recognized through her appointments as President of the North Macedonian Chamber of Commerce and Chairwoman of the North Macedonian Employers' Organization Union. Additionally, she is a representative on the National Council for European Integration of North Macedonia and the Public-Private Partnership Council within the Government.

International Arbitration and Diplomacy

Arsovska has served in several leadership positions within international organizations. She has been a member of the World Bank ICSID Commission in Washington, D.C., and the Court of Conciliation and Arbitration of the OSCE in Geneva. She also holds membership in the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague. Furthermore, she represents North Macedonia in the International Chamber of Commerce and is an elected member of the World Chambers Federation's General Council.

Awards and Recognition

Arsovska's contributions have been widely recognized. She received the "Best Business Model of Southeast Europe" award from the World Business Angels Investment Forum in 2018. In 2019, she was honored with the Recognition for Special Contribution to Entrepreneurship Development at the 6th Summit of Entrepreneurs of Central and South-Eastern Europe. She was also awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Secretary General of the World Customs Organization, Kunio Mikuriya, in 2020.

Political Endeavors

Prior to the 2021 local elections in North Macedonia, Arsovska emerged as an independent candidate for Mayor of Skopje. Her candidacy, backed by the largest opposition party VMRO-DPMNE and its coalition partners, received support from prominent intellectuals, artists, and influential figures within Skopje.
