Early life and passion for shooting
Emily Caruso was born on June 4, 1977, in Stamford. At the age of eleven, she started practicing shooting by her own desire. From her very first training session, it was clear that the young athlete possessed real potential in terms of accuracy, strength, and composure, and was capable of achieving great heights in this field. And that's exactly what happened.
Education and achievements
Emily Caruso is a certified specialist in psychology. She graduated from Norwich University in Vermont with great success, earning a degree in psychology. While studying, Emily simultaneously trained continuously and actively participated in shooting competitions of both national and international significance. Some of the most notable competitions for Emily include winning the USA Shooting Air Rifle National Champion title in 2002, 2005, 2006, and 2007, being a member of the U.S. Olympic Team in 2004, becoming the Spring Selection Match Champion in 2006, and participating in the U.S. Olympic Team trials in 2008.
Preparation for the Olympics
Currently, Emily Caruso is actively preparing for the upcoming Olympic Games in Beijing and is constantly training at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. The center provides the best training conditions for athletes, ensuring optimal and effective preparation.
Dreams and aspirations
Emily has always dreamt of participating in the Olympic Games and winning a gold medal, just like all athletes. Unfortunately, when she had the opportunity to do so in 2004, Emily was not able to perform at her best due to lack of strength and preparation. However, now she has another opportunity to showcase her skills and perfect shooting, and she hopes to become one of the best athletes in her discipline.
