Early Life and Career
California Grizzlies and National RecognitionBorn and raised in Grovetown, California, Delilah Maddalena began her shooting career at a young age. She joined the California Grizzlies junior team, where she honed her skills in smallbore rifle and served as team captain. Her experiences with the Grizzlies instilled in her invaluable leadership and teamwork abilities.
Highpower National Match and Distinguished Shooter
In 2010, Maddalena participated in the Civilian Marksmanship Program's Highpower National Match in Camp Perry, Ohio. Her impressive performance earned her the recognition of "Distinguished Shooter" by the Civilian Marksmanship Program in 2011.
Collegiate Career
University of Alaska FairbanksFrom 2013 to 2018, Maddalena pursued her higher education and shooting career at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. During her time on the rifle team, she earned numerous accolades, including:
- Four-time NRA All-American First Team in Air Rifle (2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18)
- Three-time NRA All-American First Team in Smallbore Rifle (2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18)
- Three-time CRCA Aggregate All-American First Team (2016, 2017, 2018)

International SuccessU.S. Army Marksmanship Unit and Olympic Representation
As a sergeant in the U.S. Army, Maddalena serves as a marksman/instructor with the Army Marksmanship Unit International Team. She represented the United States at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo and is scheduled to compete in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Maddalena has achieved remarkable success on the international stage:- Two gold medals at the 2021 President's Cup in Wroclaw
