Political Career
Morganti's entry into politics began in 2000, when he joined the Christian Democratic Party (PDCS). His political involvement grew significantly when he was elected to the City Council of Serravalle, serving from 2003 to 2008. In 2008, he was elected as a member of the Grand and General Council, the unicameral parliament of San Marino. Within the council, he actively participated in the Health and Agriculture Commission and the Permanent Committee on Justice.

Morganti's political career reached its pinnacle when he was elected as Captain Regent of San Marino, the head of state and government of the republic, for the first time in 2011.
