Armenian political figure, served as an advisor to the president on national security matters. Graduated from Yerevan State University with a degree in physics.

Early Career

Joined the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU). Worked as a teacher at Secondary School No. 2 in Masis.

1990-1995: Served as a deputy in the Supreme Council of Armenia, representing the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) faction.
